If you love the style of your current cabinet doors and drawer fronts but need a color upgrade, cabinet resurfacing is the option for you. If you’re looking for cabinet resurfacing services, we are a great fit. Our resurfacing service is a unique process where we work with your existing doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet frames to transition them to beautiful factory-level paint finishes as strong as oven-baked enamel. Instead of using new materials to change the look of your kitchen, with resurfacing, we are able to transform what you already have in place for a fraction of the cost of refacing or replacing your kitchen cabinets, and offer a 10-year warranty.

Cabinet resurfacing services vs. cabinet refacing, which is the better option for my project?

Choosing between refacing and resurfacing your cabinetry and drawers can be a daunting task. All in all, cabinet resurfacing is great for people who love their current cabinetry but just want a color upgrade (and maybe some new hardware). Cabinet refacing is a great option for people who want a completely NEW look for their cabinets (for instance, changing over to shaker style fronts). Both come with a 10-year warranty and a finish that is as strong as oven-baked enamel. We’re happy to discuss the differences with you in more detail so you can make the right choice for your project!

What’s the difference between cabinet refacing and cabinet resurfacing?

We totally understand why folks are confused about this! We are asked this question all the time, and the answer is relatively straightforward. When you are refacing your cabinets, it is the closest thing to getting brand new cabinets for a fraction of the cost. You get all-new cabinet doors and drawer fronts with our oven-baked enamel strength finish. Cabinet resurfacing is a bit different. This is where we take your existing cabinet doors and drawer fronts and remove existing finishes by sanding them down. We will take your cabinets through our extensive 5 stage process to refinish your cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and frames to a new finish. Cabinet resurfacing doesn’t address wood that is warped or functionally broken, but it’s great for giving your cabinets a refreshed solid color look.
